A
very clear brew. A strange aroma but not a bad flavor. Definitely a beer
that would grow on you. Finn thought the added flavor of peanuts added
to the over all quality of the drink. A.J. was quite sure that it was
brewed following the ancient "monk" tradition of Germany.
Highly rated among the crowd. German quality comes through again. |

Excellent
micro-brew! Sweet flavor, the caramelized brown sugar is very apparent.
Although billed as an ale, it is bordering on a stout. Rates very highly
with all of the Guys! Quite an amazing feat coming out of Delaware?!
This one would go great with a thick steak! Enjoy! |

Not
a bad beer, although somewhat of a bitter flavor. General overall
opinion was that there was too much hops which added the bitter
aftertaste. Okay for an infrequent drink, but a night full of these
could be quite painful. Try it in limited quantity. |

A
clean crisp and excellent hefe-weizen. Knowing the hefe's are a bit
bitter this one wasn't bad. A cautionary note, if you are new to the
world of hefe-weizen this would be a good one! If your looking to expand
your knowledge of beer, this would be a good hefe to start with. Skoal! |

A
sweet lager. Reminiscent of a "light" Crimson Voodoo. Could

unpleasant brew. Refreshing and clean. Easily drinkable. You could

Just
your average typical brew. Nothing extremely unique just a plain old

"college Brew". Not a bad brew if you are looking for
something a little more unique than a Bud. |

Another
fine beer from our friends in Delaware! The Dogfish Head brewery uses
all locally grown hops in their brews and although it adds a unique
flavor to their brews, they have all been quite enjoyable. This one is a
fine ale. Bottom-Line, this is a great brew at a reasonable price. |

Very
surprising beer here! To be honest we weren't expecting too much from
this brew. No offense, but the hot desert dwellers aren't well known for
liquid refreshment. This one is really pretty damn good. Kind of sweet
and a lot of "tiny bubbles". A clean crisp sweet lager. Very
nice flavor with a hint of oak flavor. Don't be afraid of that curly
writing on the label, this one is well worth the try. |

Not
really a true hefe, way too clear. Don't know if the brewer was trying
to duplicate an ancient Egyptian recipe, but it's really not too
impressive. Not a bad brew, although it was pretty sweet. Heavy honey
taste that may lead to violent retching if you sucked down too many. Not
a bad brew for a try, but probably not gonna end up on anyone's
"Favorite" list…unless it’s the brewers. |

This
Ale comes to us with a history of being one of the oldest beer recipes
in the world. Brewed in Scotland since 2000 B.C. (yes that is correct)
using heather flowers and Scottish malt. This one taste like your are
eating flowers. Menor thought it had a distinctive "ginger"
flavor. You should try this one for its' historical significance alone.
This is an acquired taste for sure. |

Our
notes: Good sweet scent, dark in color for a brown ale. We have to state
for the record that the story behind this brew is one of the saddest in
beer history. The Brewmaster developed this recipe using an un-marked
bag of malt. Because of this, he can not re-produce this magnificent
ale. A sad day indeed. |

followed by a finish best described as rosy of flowery |
